Tinka Easton is a 20 year old Australian Judoka who competes in the U52kg weight category. Her goal is to represent Australia at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. She also wants to be competitive on the World Judo circuit. 

 

Tinka began Judo in 2006 and instantly fell in love with the sport. Career highlights include: 2 times Australian Cadet (u18) Champion (2012, 2013), 2 times Oceania Cadet (u18) Champion (2012, 2013), 4 times Australian Junior (u21) Champion (2012, 2014, 2015), 2 time Oceania Junior (u21) Champion (2014, 2016), selected for and competed at both Cadet (2013) and Junior World (2015) Championships, Australian Youth Olympic Festival Champion (2013) and 5th at Oceania Open Wollongong (2015). Tinka has also taken part in teams events as a member of the Australian Women’s teams. Results include: Oceania Junior Women’s Team champions (2014, 2015), Oceania Senior Women’s Team champions (2015) and 7th at the Junior World Championships teams event (2015). 

 

Tinka has represented Australia 13 times since 2011 at various international events at Cadet, Junior and Senior age levels. She has also represented NSW at the Australian National Titles 9 times. Tinka was a member of the NTID (Junior Development squad), (2013-2015).
